Marketplace is hiring! We are searching for a Program Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping ourselves as a tech leader in the US market. The Program Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the Marketplace team. Reporting directly to the UK-based Product Director, the Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of product initiatives.

This role requires a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and influence the key areas of our business while working in an environment that values innovation, creativity, and adaptability.

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects within the Marketplace verticals. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables. Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams. Monitor team performance and provide guidance to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications with internal and external stakeholders. Provide regular updates to the Product Director and other senior leaders on project status, risks, and issues. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals and outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and implement best practices. Establish and maintain project management tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with commercial, strategy, technology, and other teams to ensure successful product launches, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure the impact of product initiatives. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimise product performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

Preferred Experience: 

  • Experience in the Financial Services, Insurance, Home, Health, or Legal sectors.
  • Familiarity with the digital media landscape and publisher platforms.
  • Understanding of lead generation and comparison journey processes.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
