With the advent of genomic sequencing, we can finally decode and process our genetic makeup. We now have more data than ever before but providers don't have the infrastructure or expertise to make sense of this data. We're on a mission to connect an entire ecosystem to redefine how genomic data is used in clinical settings. We are looking for a Program Manager to lead the development and launch of new assays and initiatives within the Product Development Organization.
What You’ll Do:
● Responsible for the collaborative development and maintenance of detailed project
plans utilizing project management software and other approved tools that are consistent
with the Tempus Product Development Process throughout the project lifecycle.
● Partner with the Core Team Lead to develop agendas and plan structured, collaborative,
and productive project meetings to collect and document scope, requirements, risks, and
timelines with Core Team.
● Collaborate with Sponsor and Core Team Lead to identify project resource requirements.
● Collaborate with each member of the Core Team to ensure deliverables are being
produced in accordance with the project timeline.
● Identify tradeoffs between budget, resources, and schedule and escalate them to the
Core Team Lead to drive to a decision when necessary.
● Develop project status reports and dashboards to communicate key project updates,
risks, issues, and decisions to appropriate stakeholders.
● Document and report on requirements, risks, risk mitigation plans, issues, decisions, and
lessons learned.
● Collaborate with the project Core Team Lead and other members of the Core Team to
perform detailed impact analysis of any change requests that impact scope, resources
and/or timelines.
● Reviews and confirms completion of project outputs, deliverables and documentation.
● Incorporate lessons learned and other project feedback into future project planning and
execution.
Qualifications:
● 4 year college degree, preferably in a scientific, clinical, technical or business discipline.
● Minimum 3 years project management experience, with an understanding of formal
project management methodologies.
● Experience working in the Biotechnology, Clinical Laboratory, or Medical Device industry.
● Project management certification preferred (PMP).
● Proficient in project management software, such as but not limited to: Smartsheets, MS
Project, Coda, JIRA.
● Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, GMP, NYSDOH and FDA regulations and requirements.
● Exceptional leadership, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills; able
to communicate across functions and at all levels of the organization.
● High attention to detail and ability to complete projects on time with a high degree of
accuracy and attention to quality.
● Ability to build and maintain effective relationships, developing a high level of trust within
a diverse, highly results driven organization/
● Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced environment, with
an unwavering dedication to team and project success.
● Proven ability to learn new skills quickly, adapt to new processes and changes while
maintaining a positive attitude.

The expected salary range below is applicable if the role is performed from [Illinois] and may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits, depending on the position.
Illinois Pay Range
$85,000—$130,000 USD
