Role:

The Program Manager (Operations) will report to the Director of Member Experience in New York City and will oversee a variety of cross-functional projects, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals. Working closely with Operations leadership, the Program Manager will track project progress, establish scalable processes, identify gaps, and ensure that initiatives across departments are successfully executed. 

As part of a fast-growing startup you must be comfortable working both strategic and operational tasks, this role will require hands-on involvement and rolling up your sleeves in day-to-day tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order out of complexity, and is comfortable working across multiple teams and departments to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management & Strategic Alignment:
    • Manage multiple related projects to ensure they contribute to the company’s goals.
    • Align projects with organizational priorities and communicate appropriate updates to teams.
    • Track project milestones and adjust timelines when necessary.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify inefficiencies across projects and implement solutions.
    • Develop processes to ensure smooth execution and long-term sustainability.
    • Document workflows and provide necessary training.
  • Hands-On Operational Involvement:
    • Roll up your sleeves and assist with manual or operational tasks when needed.
    • Handle day-to-day details, including data entry, follow-ups, or troubleshooting, to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
    • Support teams in executing the more tactical elements of projects when resources are stretched.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication:
    • Provide leadership and cross functional stakeholders with regular updates on status, risks, and opportunities.
    • Prepare reports on key performance indicators, project outcomes, and progress toward strategic objectives.
    • Facilitate transparent communication between stakeholders and project teams.


Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in project/program management, operations, or a similar role - Preferably in fast-paced environments or startups where adaptability and wearing multiple hats are essential.
  • Fully remote but located in New York City for on the ground scope
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Able to quickly identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities, then implement solutions effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a startup environment
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities. Ability to pivot and adjust strategies as new challenges and opportunities arise.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
