We are looking for a passionate Program Lead to own the Apprentice, Summer Intern and Career Entry program, bringing opportunities to life for all involved with the help of our coaches and mentors at Vontobel.

What would your role be?  

  • Lead the recruitment process by reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and collaborating with department heads to hire diverse Apprentices.
  • Manage the program from onboarding, rotations, learning and development – vocational and professional, coaching and feedback, support in exams including career transitions for Apprentices and Interns.
  • Run the onboarding program, organize Schnuppermorgen and other engaging events.
  • Run workshops for mentors and coaches to enable them to support and coach young professionals.
  • Network with vocational schools and educational institutions to align training objectives, build and maintain excellent relationship with teachers of the business schools.
  • Control and monitor budgets.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong social skills in handling young professionals and their  challenges. Previous experience with young professionals is an asset.
  • Bachelor or commercial apprenticeship (Kaufmännische Ausbildung).
  • Fluent in Swiss German, German and English
  • Ownership mindset with strong program and project management skills
  • Coaching, mentoring skills and ability to observe behaviors and give feedback
  • Strong networking skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the Swiss Education system
