Summary:

In this role, you will collaborate with Provista's national accounts team to oversee the entire purchasing process for supplies, including transaction management and item master maintenance. You will support contract compliance, and facilitate procurement process solutions to maximize cost savings, and serve as a trusted advisor in implementing best practices that align with our clients' material management goals. Additionally, you will coordinate operations across multiple accounts, providing direction and support for daily functions while driving process improvements and enhancing efficiency.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support procurement services engagement by ensuring smooth operations and maintain regular communication with management.
  • Oversee the Material Management system, including order confirmation, pricing, backorders, and product substitutions.
  • Process item add requests within the designated P2P platform, adhering to product standards and leveraging analytical tools.
  • Leverage reporting to share insights with stakeholders and support decision-making.
  • Maintain strong customer relations through active communication and resolution of inquiries regarding backorders, pricing, and contract disputes.
  • Collaborate with vendor representatives to obtain product crossovers and enhance contract compliance and cost savings.
  • Monitor ordering processes, recommend best practices for cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide training, education, and updates on product offerings, Envi reporting, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • No previous experience  required.
  • Previous experience with procurement preferred.
  • Experience working with Envi or other Material Management System preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of medical products preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve product or customer issues independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
  • Highly dependable, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $45,100.00 to $76,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
