In this role, you will follow defined work instructions to execute tasks and operational procedures for the shared service team (including work intake, escalation, KPIs) with minimal supervision.
As a Product Sustainability GBS Associate, you will contribute to and lead process improvement opportunities, data analysis, and work with multidisciplinary teams across the organization. You will assist in developing processes, tools, and technical expertise to support our businesses and customers.
As part of the GBS Business Support Services team, the Product Sustainability GBS Associate will be responsible for carrying out tasks and activities identified and agreed upon with the GBS Leadership and Business Stakeholders to drive efficiencies in relevant processes throughout the global activities belonging to one of the main GBS Functions: Sustainability and Product Stewardship Community of Expertise (CoE).
The Product Sustainability GBS Associate reports to the PS & EHS GBS Manager.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) to support the delivery of sustainability solutions.
- Author Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and correspond to third-party reviewer comments to maintain EPD process certification.
- Contribute to the development of specifications for the design and prototyping of an LCA toolset and other product declarations.
- Reporting and high-level business presentations.
- Serve as the focal point for product sustainability topics in the EMEA region.
- Contribute to the good maintenance of the Product Stewardship and Sustainability Management Systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or related science.
- Experience or advanced degree in sustainability, chemistry, or related science with less than 5 years of experience.
Added Value:
- Familiarity with LCA standards and guidelines (e.g., Product Category Rules (PCRs) and/or ISO 14040/44) is a plus, but we will provide training as needed
