BAE Systems is seeking a Product Support Specialist (Lead) to coordinate and execute through-life asset management tracking for advanced electronic warfare systems. The right candidate will be motivated to lead and mentor a group of Program Product Support Specialists within the Defense Logistics Engineering department and will be responsible for understanding team dynamics in completing all administrative personnel support actions relating to documenting technical performance, making program staffing assignments, and performing individual professional development and mentoring activities. They will able to recognize program asset management activities stated or inferred within customer Statements of Work, parse them into individual tasks meeting current Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) requirements for tracking and reporting of assets assigned for use by program teams, and will be expected to demonstrate clear understanding of those program metrics necessary to develop clear and effective estimates supporting proposal and business capture efforts.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 12+ years experience tracking, collecting and reporting asset data throughout all program lifecycle phases.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience implementing property controls using property and asset tracking databases based on requirements within the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), company policy, and contract requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to identify critical metrics and lessons learned for use as a basis for developing advanced concepts, applications, and techniques for accurately reflecting status and findings for use in preparation of Basis of Estimate documents to enhance future organizational effectiveness.
- Experience managing and tracking Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) / Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) movements to/from various locations to issue, receive, transfer, redistribute, or dispose of tracked assets as required following company policies and program plans/procedures.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and training junior personnel in the techniques and requirements for asset management and making role assignments based on skills and abilities.
- Experience supporting the development and submission of Basis of Estimate documents for Asset Management-related data on contract proposals.
- Possess sound communication skills for reporting information verbally or through spreadsheets and charts compatible with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in developing, testing and implementing new asset management SW tools and applications based on professional principles and theories.
- Demonstrated history and ability to act as the program point of contact for supporting, coordinating or conducting customer, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and company property account reconciliation audits
- Capacity to obtain, retain and document applicable property control metrics and lessons learned and apply them as a basis for use in determining future staffing population requirements.
- Understanding of US Government and commercial databases to include Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Commercial Asset Visibility System (CAVS), and Automated Logistics Management Support System (ALMSS)
- Extensive understanding of the requirements for export/import of assets and basic understanding on the transportation and movement of Hazardous Materials
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $116419 - $197912
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
