Ambi Robotics is excited to add a Product Support Engineer to the team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in hardware and software product technical support. This position will serve as the first point of contact for customers experiencing problems with robotic equipment in the field and will coordinate resolutions through travel to site. This role will contribute to team processes, travel to perform installations, and be responsible for the performance of a growing fleet of robotic systems.


The Product Support Engineer will work closely with the operations, software and hardware engineering teams. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed and goes above and beyond to exceed expectations.

In this role you will:

  • Take primary ownership of one or more sites as the customer point-of-contact
  • Provide secondary backup ownership to others
  • Participate in travel deployment projects in the field (1-2 weeks at a time)
  • Participate in customer support phone and email on-call rotations
  • Schedule, track, and perform preventative maintenance
  • Build and maintain reactive technical support processes
  • Lead and contribute to support team projects

You are a good fit if you have:

  • 2+ years of product support engineering with experience in electro-mechanical hardware and software systems
  • Willingness and ability to travel (up to 50%)
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite, Asana, Slack, Jira, and hardware and software principles
  • Basic technical skills for software, mechanical, and electrical engineering
  • Strong writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and customer communication experience
  • Self-starter mentality with a bias toward action and strong follow through
  • BA/BS in a related field
