Job Description

As a Product Stewardship Analyst, you will embark on a path to become a vital point of expertise, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and R&D to navigate the complexities of chemical regulations. Under the guidance of the Senior Regulatory Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our label and graphic portfolios for Europe, meet stringent EU regulations and proactively adapt to evolving legislation.

• Becoming a trusted resource: Address inquiries from Marketing, Sales, and R&D, providing clear regulatory guidance with the support of the product stewardship team and under the mentorship of the Senior Regulatory Specialist

• Maintaining regulatory accuracy: Manage and update chemical regulatory statements and product specification documents for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data integrity and accessibility

• Managing chemical data: Maintain accurate and organized data received from our suppliers regarding the chemical composition of our adhesives and face materials

• Contributing to REACH compliance: Support the maintenance of EU and UK REACH registrations, developing a strong understanding of the regulations to effectively communicate with stakeholders

• Driving IMDS improvements: Actively contribute to enhancing IMDS data quality and identifying opportunities for process optimization

• Leveraging technical skills (a significant plus): Utilize basic programming skills in tools such as Google AppSheet, IBM Cognos, Python, or Oracle Live SQL to enhance data management, analysis, and reporting capabilities

Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive and insightful individual eager to contribute to product stewardship in the Netherlands. If you are passionate about ensuring regulatory compliance and thrive in a supportive environment where you can learn and grow, we encourage you to apply. Ideally, you will bring:

• A foundational understanding of regulations: At least 2 years of hands-on experience navigating complex regulations. Familiarity with EU REACH, Food Contact Material (FCM) regulations, or any EU regulations/ directives will be highly valued

• A scientific aptitude: A Master's degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biology, or equivalent) or demonstrable equivalent experience

• An analytical mindset: The ability to understand how regulations could impact operations, coupled with a keenness to assess current practices and identify potential areas for improvement

• A collaborative and energetic approach: A highly motivated and enthusiastic personality with an ability to build positive working relationships across all levels

• Logical problem-solving skills: Proven ability to think logically, analyze root causes, and connect information to contribute to sound decision-making

• A proactive and responsible attitude: A strong sense of initiative and ownership, with the capacity to work independently while maintaining effective communication and collaboration within the team

• Clear and confident communication: The ability to articulate regulatory requirements and present factual information clearly and confidently to both internal teams and external partners
