What You Will Contribute:
 

This position will be responsible for working directly with the Marketing Manager, and is involved in all aspects of the product marketing, including: marketing analytics, competitive analysis, product planning, definition, pricing, forecasting, promotion, product life cycle management and annual operating plans

Major Job Duties/Accountability:

• Assist in the development of short and long range business plans for the product line consistent with market needs and corporate strategic plans
• Assist in the definition and communication of market and customer requirements through interaction with Project Teams, Business Teams, and other departments to maximize market success
• Support product life cycle management as directed by the Marketing Manager
• Coordinate with strategic partners and vendors to implement plans as directed by the Marketing Manager
• Assist with product pricing policies based on established gross margin objectives and assist with preparation of plans for margin improvement where necessary
• Prepare marketing specifications as appropriate
• Work on competitive analysis and formulation of competitive counter strategies for new and existing products
• Develop product promotional items including trade shows, product literature, product training and product distribution plans to achieve Business Plan objectives for assigned products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four year college
• 1 – 3 years experience
• Advanced skill level in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
• Intermediate skill level in Power Point
