Position: Product Specialist / Business Program Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our Bawal Business & Program Management team as a Product Specialist. The successful candidate will have following responsibilities as an individual contributor.

Your responsibilities

  • Single point of contact for Product lines for new product enquiries, commercials, technical discussion, order confirmation, order & delivery management to deliver the overall value to the end customer.

  • Work closely with Product Line Managers, Order desk managers, group strategic sourcing, supply chain, engineering & India manufacturing teams to develop the project scope, deliverables, work plan and timing for new projects.

  • Regular coordination with business lines for the business development, revenue growth and future planning/forecasting

  • Be interface between manufacturing (Production , planning, procurement, quality, logistics) and other cross functional teams (engineering, supply chain and order desk managers) to lead smooth operations and deliveries.

  • Analyse, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.

  • Integrate with manufacturing and SCM team for rationalized make or buy and localisation decisions.

  • Prepare monthly produced value, order intake, and rolling forecast matrices.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 plus years of Experience in project based low volume industrial equipment manufacturing OEM is preferable. 

  • Good techno-commercial understanding for successful driving of the projects.

  • Strategic thinking on risk management.

  • Good communication skills both written & spoken to deal with global and internal cross functional team based in India and overseas.

  • A team player with matrix organization experience.
