Verisure operates in a complex regulatory landscape, with both EU-wide and country-specific regulations governing our devices. These regulations set strict requirements for our product and services, demanding significant attention to ensure full compliance
As the number and complexity of our product and services has increased, so has the time and effort required to manage compliance effectively. Key tasks include identifying relevant regulations, understanding their applicability and impact on our business and operations (e.g. conducting risk assessments, assessing economic operator roles and maintaining communication with regulators and/or local experts) and ultimate translation into actionable steps to be implemented by Technology.
These responsibilities have become increasingly resource-intensive, requiring dedicated oversight and coordination.
Given these challenges, there is a clear and urgent need to strengthen compliance efforts, improve efficiency, and ensure a consistent regulatory approach within Technology and across Group. Establishing a dedicated Product & Services Compliance Specialist will not only enhance regulatory oversight but also strengthen our overall compliance strategy
