Job Description
In this multifaceted and accountable position, you are responsible for all product quality related tasks during the product life cycle. In concrete terms, this means:
- You are responsible for the work packages assigned to QMM during new product developments.
- In addition, you contribute to gain know-how and know-why to ensure that products meet reliability requirements.
- Deviation management and problem solving, such as concessions and 8D, are also part of your responsibilities.
- Your tasks will include analyzing customer complaints, including the identification of TRCs (Technical Root Cause) and MRCs (Managerial Root Cause), along with managing any related deviations.
- You collect, in close co-operation with the quality organization worldwide, customer feedback and observe market trends, for example, concerning application profiles, misuse, external failure costs, perceived quality. You provide input for engineering changes or new product developments.
- The comprehensive informing of the Purpose Team(s) about product quality rounds off the job profile.
Qualifications
Your qualifications ideally include:
- Education: University degree in engineering or comparable qualification, further training in the field of quality assurance is an advantage.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality management.
- Know-How: Knowledge in quality methods, tools and processes (e.g. FMEAs, risk analysis, Quality Function Deployment), experience in statistical test planning and evaluation, knowledge of product development processes and life cycle management, familiar with legal quality requirements (e.g. CDQs).
- Working style: High sense of responsibility, strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Personality: Team player, determined and assertive.
- Languages: Fluent in English and German is a must, any other language is a plus.
