Product Proposition & Strategy Manager

This position is to oversee the key projects/ initiatives of product proposition including new product launching and existing product support to ensure the quality delivery timely and effectively to deliver first in class and up to date Life & Health Insurance product solutions that put customers at the core of the business.
Ensuring PVA has competitive & relevant product positions to offer for different customers segments and distribution channels.

Job Responsibilities

1/ Product Proposition and Product Marketing

- Work with related stakeholders to ensure that the products have the right balance of benefits between customers and distribution

- Oversight new products launching activities including review product collaterals (POSM, Sales material…) to enhance product communication in customer language and support refreshment workshop with Distribution to ensure smooth product launch

2/ Market Intelligence & Partnership management

- Monitor and review competitiveness report by tracking of competitor movement and market intelligence

- Provide market and competitive insights through presentations and reports to the Leadership team

- Work closely with distribution (Agency, Bank partners and other partners…) to provide benchmarking report and PVA’s product introduction

3/ Product performance management

- Lead on product performance reporting, working closely with Head of Product and/or Product Strategy to understand the impact of campaigns (product launch, customer promotion…)

- Provide and present recommendation on product changes & campaign to improve product performance

- Coordinate with Marketing to conduct post launch survey to provide actionable support to related functions such as Distribution, Training, Operation

- Conduct post-launch review and take corrective actions to ensure product scalability & sustainability after product launching

4) Ensure product and product solutions are well risk managed and complied with company standard.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from finance or marketing and Business-related discipline
• Have at least 3-5 years’ experience in sales, marketing, product marketing development in insurance or financial service industry

Knowledge and skill

• Have a deep-dive understanding of industry
• Be creative, innovative, and responsive with a sense of urgency for business.
• Strategic, organized and structured thought process
• Understanding about corporate culture in an international setting
• Good English communication
