Product Owner

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join us here at ShyftLabs. This role will play a key role in shaping our products, and will work closely with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution to ensure our products deliver maximum value to customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the product vision, goals, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and review sessions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, developers, and other teams.
• Gather and analyze feedback from users, sales, customer support, and analytics to inform product decisions.
• Clearly communicate product updates, progress, and roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prioritize features and enhancements to maximize value for customers and the company.
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and up to date.
• Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of features.
• Define success metrics and monitor product performance using data-driven insights.
• Continuously seek ways to optimize user experience and business outcomes.
• Drive experimentation, A/B testing, and iteration based on data and user research.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or related role in a tech company.
• AdTech experience is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development processes.
• Experience working with modern tech stacks, SaaS, or digital products.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in using data analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced, globally distributed teams.
• Technical background (CS degree or hands-on experience working with developers).
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Notion, and Miro.
• Knowledge of AI, cloud computing, and emerging tech trends.
