Job Description
What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in an agile environment, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to work cross functionally to influence priorities and drive outcomes.
- Deep understanding of the B2B marketplace and/or commercial credit and/or the financial services industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with or understanding of the corporate as well as small business economy and entrepreneurship is a plus.
Work that matters - What you’ll be doing
- Product Strategy: Collaborate on the build and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the market needs and overall company objectives. Feed strategic market assessment and focus opportunities into the overall company strategic planning.
- Agile Management: Ensure effective sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and iterative development, including writing detailed user stories, release planning and guiding your scrum team.
- Write clear and detailed user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Continuously refine and adjust the backlog based on feedback and changing priorities
- Work closely with the agile development team to clarify requirements and ensure understanding.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Accept or reject completed work, ensuring it meets the defined acceptance criteria
- Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support, and executive leadership to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
- Market Focus: Engage with industry and clients to gather feedback and insights, ensuring our products meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Coordinate with marketing, sales, and support teams to prepare for product releases
- Go-To-Market Strategy & Sales Support: As the product SME, working with the product marketing, sales, presales teams to launch product
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and continuous product improvement.
Qualifications
More about you
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product role within the data or technology industry.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
