Position Overview:
The Product Owner for Third-Party Integrations and Internal Tooling will play a crucial role in enhancing our DNS and DHCP product line by integrating with complementary third-party software and applications. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, strong technical acumen, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver seamless integrations that enhance our product value.
Key Responsibilities:
· Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for third-party integrations and tooling that complement our DNS and DHCP products.
· Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ensure thorough testing is conducted to validate functionality, identify potential issues, and align the product with business requirements before release.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and articulate clear and actionable requirements that drive the development process.
· Identify and evaluate potential third-party software and applications for integration, ensuring alignment with our product strategy and customer needs.
· Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful integration and launch of third-party products.
· Meet with our Customers to gather, define and validate our third-party integrations
· Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for integration-related features and enhancements alongside the Technical Project Manager
· Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality integrations/tooling that meet customer expectations.
· Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for new integrations.
· Gather and analyze customer feedback and data to continuously improve and optimize third-party integrations.
· Possess a deep understanding of DNS and DHCP technologies, and how third-party integrations can add value to our product line.
· Review testing and quality assurance of all third-party integrations to ensure they meet our high standards for reliability and security.
· Collaborate with QA teams to create and execute test plans for integration features and creation of Acceptance Criteria.
· Lead the go-to-market strategy for new integrations, including coordinating with marketing and sales teams to develop launch materials and training (Internal and External).
· Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing integrations, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or work experience.
· 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in networking, software, or IT infrastructure.
· Proven experience with DNS, DHCP, and related networking technologies.
· Experience with third-party software integrations, API management, and vendor relationship management, such as ServiceNow, Terraform.
Skills:
· Strong technical acumen and understanding of networking technologies.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience with Agile methodologies and Product Management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
· Ability to work in a team centric environment with multiple stakeholders.
