Role Introduction:
Associate Product Manager acts as a subject matter expert in Blue Yonder Promotions Management and Promotion optimization. Strategically drives the development, market launches, and continual support and improvement of Blue Yonder Promotion Management products. The Associate Product Manager is typically involved in supporting product development, product sales/pre-sales, customer care, expert on the product and customers. Focuses on long and medium term strategy, product vision, observing market usage of product, and supporting the sales/adoption of the product. Communicate/clarifies functional design to Product Development. Provides support to Support Services and Implementation Services on complex customer issues. Applies and communicates industry knowledge and best practices. Collaborates and assist PMG team leadership on functional design and review. Completes assigned work with allotted time w.r.t customer projects and product management responsibilities. Conducts requirements analysis and coordinates with other PMG team members to ensure cohesive deliveries as planned by organization. Demonstrates software to customers and internal stake holders as needed. Evaluates and responds to gaps identified in Business Process Analysis regarding best practices and suitability of enhancements for base product. Facilitates iterative improvement of design with PD Product Owners. Gathers requirements on new as well parity product features, product enhancements to existing products to identify gaps and assess usability of designs. Participates in Support Services initiated issue resolution. Partners and assist SIG managers to manage the activities of the group. Provides inputs and requirements of UI/UX design and standards. Pursues opportunities to solicit users feedback on product functionality and knowledge of their :day in the life" process. Oversee the product backlog, ensuring priorities are correct.

Responsibilities
• Be the expert on the product functionality and customer projects issues and concerns
• Work with Product Director to develop product requirements and roadmaps consistent with company vision
• Gather product requirements, balance in accordance with strategic product direction from leadership and ensuring roadmap implementation 
• Establish feature acceptance criteria
• Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
• Work with Product director to understand customers business problems; work with PD Product Owners to resolve those problems
• Work with PD Product Owners, customers, and market to identify solution opportunities and establish roadmaps
• Work with PD Product Owners to create and review customer issues about product functionality
• Incorporate feedback received through Product management leadership, customer interactions, partners and internal teams to identify ways to enrich product quality
• Communicate roadmaps; internal and externally (if required)
• Customer Care and Sales support in answering RFPs, functionality questions, and work to ensure in assisting sales organization
• Participate in users/customer facing situations as a product expert
• Support the development of product collateral for sales enablement
• Conduct analyst briefings and inquiries regarding Blue Yonder Promotions Management and Promotion Management solutions
• Work with Product Director on existing product transformation of Promotion Optimization to modern cloud platform based product
• Proven SME experience within promotions management, retail management, supply chain planning application software or as a Product Manager
• Experience in projects related to sales forecasting, retail business analytics, root causing of poor KPI results in supply chain planning
• Ability to prioritize work and manage changing priorities
• Ability to achieve goals in an innovative environment and to implement product strategy based research, data, and industry trends
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Creative/Problem solving thinking skills
• Ability to work with product development teams in Scrums and driving requirements
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Must enjoy spending time on customers engagements, project meetings so as to understand their challenges
• 5-10% Potential, depending on customer project engagement and sales support requirements
• Cross Location Team Coordination
