As the successful Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, mentoring and supporting junior Product Managers as they develop their skills and contribute to the team. Responsibilities

• Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, ensuring alignment with the broader business objectives.
• Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits and phone calls to customers and non-customers.
• Driving a solution set across development teams through the authoring of requirements and user stories. Daily interaction with software developers and testers, guiding teams on strategic priorities.
• Mentoring and supporting junior Product Managers, providing guidance on best practices, market analysis, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Working with Marketing to produce product collateral, sales tools, and go-to-market strategies.
• Training both Sales Support and Technical Support in the use and operations of the product, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver value to customers.
• Supporting the Sales team during the sales process, including assistance with demonstrations and deployments, typically for large opportunities or key customers.
• Attending industry conferences and trade shows, making presentations and networking to promote product positioning and gather market insights.
• Maintaining a current knowledge of competitive product positioning, feature sets, messaging, and industry trends to ensure products meet market demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Senior Product Manager, or 7 years’ experience as a Product Manager in an Enterprise Software company, with additional experience in a senior or lead role preferred.
• Demonstrated success in defining and launching high-impact products, with experience leading cross-functional projects.
• Excellent understanding of software development processes, product life cycle, and agile methodologies.
• Strong written, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of customers and internal stakeholders.
• Professionalism in creating and delivering presentations and training sessions, customizing messaging to suit diverse audiences.
• Ability to effectively conduct both formal and informal training sessions and presentations.
• Proven multi-tasking and problem-resolution skills, with a high capacity for prioritizing and managing time effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and partner effectively across teams to achieve business results.
• Experience in mentoring or coaching team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• MBA or a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of current software technologies, market trends, and strategic positioning.
• Experience with Android, Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows Server platforms is a plus.
• This position requires travel and trade show attendance (must maintain a valid passport at all times).
