Your role

We are seeking a highly motivated and young professional Product Owner Supply to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the solutions for Supply, Manufacturing and Distribution over the complete life cycle ensuring alignment with business value, competitiveness, and continuous improvement. This role requires a decisionmaker with strong analytical skills, a hands-on attitude, and a thorough understanding of supply chain processes. 

 

Your responsibilities  

As a Product Owner Supply you will  

  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into tailored solutions with clear acceptance criteria 

  • Work closely with other Product Owners, the Chief Product Owner, and Product- and System Architects to refine and define feature functionality and clear acceptance criteria.  

  • Ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements. 

  • Work together with the business stakeholders to set priorities and align on dependencies.  

  • Manage priorities and align on dependencies within the agile team together with the Scrum Master 

  • Manage delivery conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to meet agreed commitment. 

  • Pro-active communication with management and stakeholders on timely bases 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile practices within the team. 

  • Manage and prioritizing the team backlog, support the team in value delivery, getting & applying feedback and improve & innovate. 

  • Able to do root cause analysis with teams along with retrospectives to deliver product updates and to improve the development process. 

  • Collaborate closely with the development manager and scrum master.  
    While you represent the customer’s voice and priorities, the development manager focuses on people management, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and capabilities. Together with the scrum master, they ensure the development team remains focused and capable of delivering high-quality products on time.  

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure product success. 

  • NPS with the stakeholders and users 

  • Life cycle costs (development, operational and maintenance costs – e.g. license costs) 

  • Capability maturity 

  • Agile team metrics like predictability, team happiness, WIP, …. 

  • Quality in general and specific on data privacy & security in sync with the global information security office guidelines 

  • Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap to ensure alignment with strategic goals.  

  • Take ownership of the product by defining and executing a strategy on adoption, governance, and self-service capabilities through the complete life cycle. 

  • Collaborate with the Chief Product Owner on market research and future features. 

  • Align with main stakeholders within the business domains, the operations team and if applicable the digital acceleration team, to strive towards fast-track adoption. 

 

 

Your qualifications and skills  

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management, Information Technology or equivalent  

  • Strong understanding and several years of experience with business processes and best practice solutions in either supply, manufacturing, distribution, or site logistics within an international environment 

  • You have solid base of experience in gathering technical, functional and business requirements 

  • Strong on implementation of SAFe or Agile scrum and working to assess and size story/epics  

  • Working experience with business industry applications like ERP, WMS systems, mobile, is a pre  

  • Good interpersonal skills (work well within a team) and ability to influence at various levels of the organization. 

  • Ability to work and make solid decisions in a fast-paced operational environment with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.  

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills  

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 

  • Drive to win, result and goal oriented with a hands-on mentality 

  • You are able to speak, read and write in English

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 6050 to €7400 gross  per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
