Job Description
The application Digital construction support (Digitale Baubegleitung) will become the central platform for digitization of construction sites for fiber-rollout in Germany. You will be part of the team that develops and tests the central platform for digitization.
You will be part of a central team that develops and operate the system. Main goals of the system are:
- Efficiency for construction supervisiors and documentation
- Quality improvements during construction phase
- Higher degree of automation in billing-process
As the person responsible for the success of your product, you create and prioritize the product features to be developed through the backlog. You ensure that the requirements in the product backlog are understood by the development team and evaluate the implementation in terms of functionality, usability, cost, performance, and quality.
As a motivator, you work together with the Scrum Master to ensure the performance and successful collaboration of the development team and create a productive working atmosphere.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment (certification in Scrum and/or SAFe is an advantage)
- Excellent knowledge in product lifecycle management
- Very good market understanding of the IT and telecommunication branch, ideal first touchpoints with civil engineering projects
- Strong understanding of hardware and software components and their interactions
- Process knowleadge in the planning, construction supervision, and documentation of FTTH networks
Soft skills:
- Conflict resolution: Ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Risk management: Skills to identify, assess, and manage risks.
- Strong communication skills: Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, especially civil engineering contractors.
- Confident appearance: Ability to present confidently in both German and English.
- Teamwork: Ability to foster productive relationships within the Scrum team and with the Scrum Master.
- Problem-solving skills: Creative and analytical approaches to solving challenges.
- Responsibility: Taking responsibility for the product vision and prioritizing the Product Backlog.
- Relationship management: Building and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders to increase project value.
