    • Consider an accounting certification - possibly Chartered Accountant (CA): Relevant for understanding accounting principles and financial compliance, particularly if the role involves close work with finance teams.
    Experience
    1. Experience in Treasury or Financial Management:
    • 5+years of experience in treasury, cash management, or loan/collections management.
    • Exposure to handling loans and collections, working with financial data, and managing cash flow processes.
    2. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365:
    • Proven experience (2+ years) working with Dynamics 365 Finance, ideally with the finance module.
    • Experience configuring and customizing D365 to meet functional expectations related to loan and collections workflows.
    3. Product Ownership Experience:
    • Experience as a product owner role or similar position, ideally within Dynamics.
    • Ideally familiar with Agile methodologies and experience collaborating closely with clients, cross-functional teams, developers, finance teams - all stakeholders.
    4. Integration and Data Management Experience:
    • Experience with D365 integrations, particularly with financial institutions, CRMs, or other ERP systems.
    • Familiarity with D365 Data Management Framework, APIs, and reporting tools (such as Power BI, SQL, or Electronic Reporting) for data analysis and integration tasks.
    Key Skills
    • Good understanding of financial principles, loan processing, interest calculations, and collections practices.
    • Ability to configure and optimise D365 Finance for treasury management.
    • Ability to analyse financial data and troubleshoot D365 functionality to improve processes.
    • Ability to articulate business requirements, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams.
    • Willingness to stay updated on new D365 functionalities, treasury management trends, and regulatory changes impacting loans and collections.
    • Not a prerequisite: There is a requirement to gain a complete functional understanding and to become intrinsically familiar with the Axnosis TMS (Treasury Management) and GRC (Governance Regulation and Compliance) D 365 modules, ongoing updates and the related customisations delivered to the ELO project.

    • Strong knowledge of financial processes related to loans, collections, cash flow, and overall treasury operations to understand and shape business requirements.

    • Loan Management Knowledge: Deep understanding of treasury operations, including loan origination, interest calculations, amortization, repayment schedules, and financial compliance.
    • Experience in collections processes, including overdue management, dunning, payment recovery, dispute management, and credit analysis.
    • Familiarity with regulatory standards like DASC/ IFRS, and understanding of internal financial controls, as they relate to loans and collections.
    • Proficiency in designing and interpreting financial reports, especially around loan portfolio performance, collections aging, cash flow, and risk.
    D365-Specific Knowledge
    • Deep understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance, specifically the finance module, with knowledge of configuration, workflows, and customization capabilities.
    • Familiarity with D365's Cash and Bank Management functionalities for tracking loan disbursements, reconciliations, and collections.
    • Experience with D365's reporting tools and data entities for extracting, analysing, and reporting loan and collections data.
    • Knowledge of integrating D365 Finance with external systems (e.g., banking systems or CRMs) and familiarity with D365 Data Management Framework (DMF) for data imports and exports.
    Technical Skills
    • Understanding of customization opportunities within D365, including workflows, business rules, and minimal code-based customizations.
    • Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI to build custom workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and design reports specific to treasury needs.
    • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Excel for querying and analyzing financial data to support decision-making and strategy.
    • Experience setting up role-based access controls, ensuring data security, and compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
    Soft Skills
    • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and apply insights to the product development roadmap.
    • Strong communication skills to translate complex treasury and finance • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, driving collaboration.
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex financial processes, particularly related to loans and collections, within D365 to meet evolving business needs.
