Company Overview
At Motorola Solutions, we're guided by a shared purpose - helping people be their best in the moments that matter - and we live up to our purpose every day by solving for safer. Because people can only be their best when they not only feel safe, but are safe. We're solving for safer by building the best possible technologies across every part of our safety and security ecosystem. That's mission-critical communications devices and networks, AI-powered video security & access control and the ability to unite voice, video and data in a single command center view. We're solving for safer by connecting public safety agencies and enterprises, enabling the collaboration that's critical to connect those in need with those who can help. The work we do here matters.
Department OverviewMotorola Solutions has been on the cutting edge of technology for over 90 years. Our public safety customers are some of the most demanding people in the world - and with good reason. They trust their lives to us, and we earn that trust daily by providing them with solutions that help them be more efficient, more effective, and safer in the moments that matter.
In Global Marketing, our mission is to bring that story to life...to show the world what
Motorola Solutions can do, and make sure that customers understand how our solutions can help them in their mission.
The Safety & Security Ecosystem team within Global Marketing advocates for the solutions that help our customers manage the entire public safety and enterprise security workflow - from detecting and analyzing situations to communicating and responding - so that safety and security can be addressed and maintained. This particular role has responsibilities within the product management portion of the workflow.
Job Description
We’re looking for a storyteller - someone who will be responsible for telling the compelling stories and positive outcomes that result from using Motorola Solutions products within public safety agencies and enterprises. This is not just a function of an individual solution, but also the integration between our solutions to streamline the workflow.
You will own the messaging and collateral for all aspects of the integrations - not just the big picture, but also updating existing materials as new features are added, helping customers stay aware of the latest capabilities, and handling new solution launches. You will translate new features and capabilities into specific real-world benefits for our customers.
Your audience includes police chiefs, officers on the street and detectives; IT managers, security resource individuals and facility management - not to mention industry analysts and reporters who are keenly interested in what we are doing in the world of public safety and enterprise security. It’s up to you to make sure they get it, believe in our capabilities and the value they represent, and want our solutions.
You will be managing several solutions within the public safety and enterprise security workspace - including some that overlap in capabilities to serve different tiers of customers - so excellent project management skills are important to grow relationships with key stakeholders, and deliver high-quality material on time.
