Product Marketing Manager
As the Product Marketing Manager for DefenseStorm, you are the bridge between our Product, GTM teams, and Partners, ensuring that our market of financial institutions understands the value of our platform, products and services, all in the context of our unique brand positioning. To help ensure cross-functional collaboration, you will be an integral component of our product launch model, including the product and engineering teams. In the age of AI, you will need to have experience with solutions that have leveraged AI, as well as using AI to improve how you deliver. This role provides a great opportunity to roll up your sleeves, putting your business and technical experience to work helping both DefenseStorm and our clients thrive! This role reports directly to the VP, Marketing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop clear and compelling messaging for our platform, products and services.
  • Create collateral, including use cases, personas, case studies, demos, etc. with a focus on value and differentiation.
  • Understand and internalize the DefenseStorm brand, effectively applying it to product messaging.
  • Work in the context of our product launch process to lead go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, sales, and adoption of new capabilities and offerings, including exposure to industry analysts and experts.
  • Coordinate with our Demand Gen efforts to deliver within a “pipeline” framework to create content that supports business goals at all stages of the customer journey, reinforcing DefenseStorm’s unique ability to solve their problems.
  • Work with partners to discover and define joint value propositions, use cases, and co-marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with Enablement to create outstanding materials and training to position our GTM and Partner teams for success.
  • Use insights from market research, sales, competitors and partners to continually bring the voice of the customer to our products (big picture thinking).
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Required Education and Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B SaaS technology marketing experience.
  • Product marketing experience or equivalent in pre-sales, content marketing, or product management.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical subjects into engaging and relevant messaging for different target audiences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including an ability to engage and build trust with partners and internal stakeholders
  • Experience bringing AI-enabled solutions to market
  • Experience using AI technologies to support your role, e.g., research, content development, etc.
  • Familiarity collaborating with partners to develop joint go-to-market efforts.
  • Confident self-starter with a willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment, working autonomously, cross-functionally, and with our leadership team.
  • Proactive and positive team player with a willingness to learn, deliver and receive feedback, and tackle any tasks that arise.


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Financial services and/or fintech experience is desired.
  • Experience with cyber risk (security, compliance, fraud) and/or risk management is a plus but not required.
