About the role

Are you a visionary product manager that wants to bring your experience to help contribute something truly special? As an important part of our US CTO organization, you’ll help to refine and execute the product vision behind Boldyn Networks’ market-leading Mobile Private Networks as a Service offering.  The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the product lifecycle, the mobile networks ecosystem, market trends, and stakeholder management. You’ll be working with a team of world-class experts that design, develop, and integrate software and systems to facilitate the delivery of our private cellular network services in medium to high complexity indoor and outdoor environments.  Based in one of our offices on a hybrid basis you’ll translate technical concepts into plain language for consumption by disparate audiences.

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for helping identify research and development topics, managing the product roadmap, assimilating roadmaps from key suppliers, overseeing the development process, maintaining timelines, and interfacing with sales and marketing teams to ensure the product’s success in the market. Additionally, you will be a key source of intelligence on industry trends in the private networks space for the organization. As an important contributor within the US Technology Office team, you will work collaboratively across a multidisciplinary product development and architecture team to help facilitate product goals that meet the needs of our customers. 

• Work collaboratively with network architects and product development professionals within the Boldyn US Technology Office, Boldyn Global Technology Office, and across US-based deployment teams.
• Collaborates with RAN, Edge Platforms, Core, Data Science, and Infrastructure architects and engineers to deliver a high-performance Private Networks Platform at the direction of the team Director
• Drives the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, feature analysis of competitor offerings, product positioning, requirements and roadmap development
• Creates product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, etc.
• Analyzes customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs.-buy perspective. Assesses current competitor offerings and identifies new opportunities for differentiation
• Seeks and assimilates inputs for the product roadmap from the various subject matter experts on the team, as well as from solutions and business development teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design or Computer Science or other related engineering discipline.
• Prior experience working at a hyperscaler, software company, mobile networks equipment vendor, or mobile carrier a plus (Apple, Google, Amazon, Nokia, HPE/Athonet, Ericsson, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.).
• Working understanding of 3GPP LTE and 3GPP 5G-NR SA mobile network technologies is a plus
• Strong experience in a dynamic project management environment with a proven track record overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
• 10  or more years of experience in a product management or product owner role with demonstrated progressive levels of responsibility
