What You’ll Do
As a Product Manager on the Site Experiences team, you’ll work on a wide range of initiatives spanning technical infrastructure, site experiences, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering Scalable Infrastructure Improvements: Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize and execute technical upgrades, ensuring high site performance and maintainability.
- Driving Site Health and Technical Excellence: Work on initiatives that enhance site performance, such as improving Core Web Vitals and implementing infrastructure optimizations.
- Improving User Experiences: Partner with design and engineering teams to launch intuitive and engaging site experiences that delight shoppers and build trust.
- Managing Complex Migrations: Oversee seamless transitions for major technical and infrastructure projects, ensuring no disruption to site functionality or user experience.
- Setting Vision and Strategy: Define the roadmap for your areas of ownership, aligning with EverQuote’s broader goals and mission.
- Owning and Driving Roadmap Planning: Lead the team’s roadmap and planning processes, collaborating with stakeholders to align priorities and ensure the roadmap reflects strategic objectives and actionable initiatives.
- Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Act as the central point of contact for your projects, working with stakeholders across product, engineering, analytics, and marketing to drive success.
- Monitoring Performance: Use data and analytics to measure the impact of your initiatives, iterate on results, and ensure continuous improvement.
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally with exposure to both technical and UI-driven projects.
- A strong technical foundation—you can work closely with engineers, understand technical constraints, and contribute to discussions on architecture and scalability.
- Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end, from discovery and definition to delivery and measurement.
- Excellent communication skills—you can distill complex ideas into clear, actionable steps for diverse audiences.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and analytics, to deliver impactful outcomes.
- A customer-focused approach—you prioritize solving user problems and delivering business value.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
