POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Manager will guide the company’s success by providing product leadership on our current and future cryogenic storage and delivery systems. The Product Manager will work closely with the sales and engineering teams to ensure the company has a robust and innovative portfolio of cryogenic solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)

  • Responsible for life cycle management of a defined product family.
  • Manages product line profitability by monitoring key performance indicators and sales history.
  • Ownership of the product roadmap for cryogenic products. This includes hosting regular roadmap reviews with key stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Provides on-going product support, product expertise, and training to distributors, end customers and the sales team.
  • Develops and provides Voice of Customer / User Needs to the engineering project team. This will require regular visits to customers as well as market research to validate marketing requirements.
  • Serves as an active core team member for product development projects.
  • Develops and maintains business cases for all new product development projects.
  • Responsible for new product introductions – Pricing & Positioning, Launch Training, Sales & Marketing tool kit at time of launch.

​​QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management, or related Life Science/Clinical Field
  • Minimum 4-7 years related experience with product management in the life sciences or medical device industry.
  • Experience in cryogenic systems or similar laboratory science devices.
  • Demonstrated product launch experience in the last 5 years.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in a sales and marketing role in a life science or medical device company
  • Experience in a product development and manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP system; JDE or SAP preferred
