At IMO Health, we are seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the development and lifecycle of our IMO Core terminology solution, with a focus on regulatory initiatives such as USCDI and ICD-11. This role supports our EHR partners in achieving regulatory certification, standardizing data exchange, and streamlining terminology interoperability. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this individual contributor role emphasizes strategic execution and hands-on collaboration across teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Act as the primary driver for IMO Core’s regulatory-focused roadmap, ensuring alignment with certification requirements such as USCDI, ICD-11, and related interoperability standards.
  • Collaborate closely with EHR partners to understand their needs, address regulatory challenges, and guide them toward successful compliance and data standardization.
  • Define and manage the product backlog, crafting a strategic roadmap that prioritizes business value, regulatory compliance, and user needs.
  • Build compelling business cases for new initiatives, focusing on regulatory alignment and partner impact.
  • Partner deeply with engineering teams to articulate requirements, resolve complexities, and ensure effective implementation of solutions.
  • Act as a key liaison across internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure regulatory requirements and product positioning are clearly understood and communicated.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory updates to identify opportunities and proactively address evolving partner and market demands.
  • Lead internal and external communication efforts to ensure stakeholders are informed about updates, releases, and product positioning.
  • Drive collaboration across teams to deliver regulatory-compliant, high-value solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 5+ years in product management, specifically within the healthcare technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability, regulatory requirements (e.g., USCDI, ICD-11), and EHR workflows. Experience with revenue cycle management and medical necessity is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineering teams on API-based products.
  • Proven ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution in a cross-functional environment.
  • Exceptional ability to articulate product vision, regulatory nuances, and technical requirements to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data exchange standards and regulations.
  • Occasional travel for on-site team collaboration or partner engagements.

What We Do

We are a team of dedicated clinical terminologists, data scientists, industry subject matter experts, and informaticists who helped facilitate the evolution from analogue to digital capture of clinical events, the precise code-mapping that simplifies complex workflows, and the translation of unstructured into structured data. We “wrote the digital dictionary” used in every major EHR, and we are leveraging clinical AI to generate insights that expand and deepen our impact across the healthcare ecosystem.

At the end of the day, we don’t make decisions for our clients. We provide them with the digital tools to enable sound decision-making.

Why Work With Us

We are building a clinical intelligence stack—medical ontology, human expertise, and AI—that makes data more useful and more powerful. By enhancing data’s structure, richness, and precision, we reduce noise and error, streamline complexity, and create clarity across the clinical information chain.
