About the Role:
At CleverTap, we built TesseractDB™, the world’s first database built specifically for engagement and retention. It was created to overcome the limitations of ordinary martech and to bring the full power of AI/ML to marketers. The CleverTap platform ingests 36 billion user interactions daily, and sends out over 16 billion message notifications each day on behalf of its customers, and currently stores over 50 petabytes of data.
We’re building newer capabilities around machine learning, better behavioral analytics, collaboration tools, and more ways to offer hyper-personalized experiences.
As a Product Manager - Platforms, you will own overall system performance, stability, uptime, scale, and security of all backend systems that power the CleverTap platform. You’ll help shape the roadmap for the next generation of TesseractDB™.
CleverTap's Product Managers work collaboratively in a dynamic, highly-technical environment to build the World’s #1 Retention Cloud.
What you will do:
- Own the ideation, development and launch of new enabling products and tools that impact the overall CleverTap platform and it’s customers in terms of performance, scale & security
- Incorporate understanding of developers, data, and market analysis to devise product strategies and roadmaps.
- Work closely with the engineering teams to develop understanding of the core engineering architecture, deep-dive into various engineering challenges to devise effective product solutions and execute challenging yet impactful projects
- Partner with customer support teams to solve customer pain points
- Own and be accountable for scaling systems powering the CleverTap platform
- Prepare Product Requirement Documents (PRD), based on the priorities, and work with the development team for timely development and release of product/ features
- Define and analyze metrics that drive the success of products.
- Display strong leadership, communication, organizational and execution skills.
What are we looking for?
Must have:
- BE/BTech in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or IT will be preferred.
- 6-8 years in building and launching customer-facing products with at least 3+ years of experience building and shipping software products in a Software Engineering role including working on developer-focused APIs, services & SDKs
- Ability to understand complex software systems and communicate effectively with technical specialists
- Good knowledge of at least one cloud service - AWS, GCP, Azure etc
- Cross-functional communication and collaboration experience.
- Collaborate with other product and engineering teams to drive various platform initiatives
Good to have:
- MBA/PGDM with a specialization in IT or Marketing or Strategy or Business Analytics will be preferred.
