Job Summary
As a Vice President in our Deposit Management Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Sales teams and advancing our FIG solutions agenda. You will collaborate closely with sales professionals to enhance client relationships and drive deposit growth strategies. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of financial institutions. In this role, you will foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, working alongside a dynamic team to deliver impactful results and support the strategic objectives of our FIG clients.
Beneficial to this role is a good understanding of the treasury and cash management needs of wholesale clients, as well as knowledge of the regulatory landscape in which financial institutions, such as J.P. Morgan, must operate in.
Job responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with FIG Sales teams to drive deposit growth and enhance client engagement
  • Supports client deals by providing strategic insights and solutions that align with client needs and objectives
  • Collaborates with global partners within Liquidity & Account Solutions to ensure alignment and consistency in service delivery and product offerings
  • Manage pricing strategies for the deposit portfolio, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing structures.
  • Analyses market trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new solutions
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of client onboarding and service delivery
  • Monitors and reports on portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Leads initiatives to enhance the client experience, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Mentors and guides junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Proven experience in financial services, with a focus on relationship management and client engagement.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal partners
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective pricing strategies for financial products
  • Experience in supporting sales teams and contributing to successful client deal execution
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global teams, ensuring alignment and consistency across regions
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) or a similar sector
  • Advanced degree or professional certification in finance or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with liquidity and account solutions products and services
  • Understanding of Treasury and balance sheet management
