Job Description
Ares is seeking an exceptional technology professional with a strong track record of managing, developing, and delivering technology across the HR domain and its associated applications and technologies. This professional will join our HR Technology team in IT, and will work closely with business stakeholders and IT partner teams through all project phases of scoping, implementation, deployment, optimization, and support.
This role requires an adaptable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy professional who can operate successfully across various phases of a dynamic project and can multi-task and transition quickly as business priorities shift.

As a product manager, develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation in collaboration with the team leadership and project stakeholders. Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, status updates, and other communications. Lead complex, cross-functional projects with stakeholders at all levels.

Partner with key stakeholders to understand business processes and pain points. Operate as a thought leader, and advocate for change, in implementation and maintenance of HR applications such as Workday HCM, Workday Learning, Workday Recruiting, Performance Mgmt systems such as Via People, and others.

Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements.

Own solution design and delivery, including drafting current/future system/process diagrams and documenting business requirements, technical specifications, test cases, deployment plans, and release notes.

As a people manager, provide the team guidance, coaching, and development opportunities. Manage team performance and oversee team development across technical /domain and soft skills.

Liaison to the application architecture, development, and PMO teams to ensure guidelines and process across all technology initiatives are aligned properly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computing, HR, Information Systems, or related fields
Experience Required:
-
In-depth knowledge of HR business processes, including recruitment, talent development and management, operations, and benefits
-
Track record of successfully delivering business and technology projects with an understanding of product development lifecycle, including robust project management skills.

Experience in applications and hands on configuration and delivery in Workday HCM.

Strong knowledge and experience in HR technologies including Workday, HRSoft, Visier, Via People
-
Exceptional leadership and communication, capable of influencing decisions and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and improving processes.

Working knowledge of agile principles and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$175,000 - $190,000
