The Product Manager, Data Solutions will support Product Management Leadership with guiding the strategy and product enhancement roadmap for The Work Number, Equifax’s most differentiated and valuable data asset, and our growing data portfolio. This role will work heavily within internal operational processes and systems to uncover end-to-end product journeys for enhancements and refinement. This includes gaining a deep understanding of competitive / alternative offerings, making recommendations on product enhancements, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working closely with sales, marketing and technology to deliver market leading solutions. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
This role is a tactical program and product management role. Must be able to move between understanding strategy, setting a plan and executing, and presenting a plan seamlessly. Working across a highly matrixed organization and leveraging lessons learned from other organizations will be critical to success.
This position is in the Equifax Workforce Solutions business unit, and works closely with Product Operations, Technical Product Management, Engineering, Sales and Marketing leadership, Legal and Compliance, Operations leadership team, and other cross-functional teams to deliver complete solutions. The right individual will thrive on problem solving, be comfortable leading interactions with new/prospective partners and will maintain close collaboration with internal peers to drive forward new product functionality. The Product Manager will work a hybrid schedule from our office in St Louis, MO.

What you’ll do

Develop solution expertise with deep knowledge of the product ecosystem and competitive landscape.

Support team members and Product Leadership on strategy, execution, and roll out of product offerings and releases that drive the overall product roadmap.

Serve as a product subject matter expert. Responsibilities include representing the solution in the marketplace, support of internal sales messaging/training and engaging in customer conversations as needed.

Serve as liaison with technology teams; activities include development of the business case to articulate ROI / business value, defining business requirements, driving enhancement prioritization and addressing product issues as they arise.

Analyze the market and engage with customers to identify opportunities to evolve the product offering support of business growth and retention goals.

Support solution value propositions and collaborate with product marketing to deploy into the market with consideration of white papers, brochures, social media, web pages, online events and more.
What experience you need

Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a B2B product management or related role in a complex business environment, including experience with go to market strategy development.

Understanding of Marketing Planning, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, traditional and new marketing tactics, channel marketing and the infrastructure and tools necessary to support these activities is desired.

Experience in the technology and/or data industries or working with technology and/or data-related products and services preferred.

Experience working in Human Capital Management solutions, Payroll, or HR Technology preferred.
