Position Description:
ServiceTrade is a leading SaaS company transforming the fire protection, life safety, and mechanical industries. We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Product Management Intern to join our growing team. As the Product Management Intern, you will work alongside the Product team to tackle problems facing our customers and business. You will learn about operational processes, problem identification, solution refinement, as well as interact with key departments that impact product development. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement methodologies.
This is an in-office internship so you’ll need to be on site at our Durham, NC Headquarters.
Why ServiceTrade:
ServiceTrade’s early career student program internships provide current/upcoming senior students with challenging assignments, technical skills, exposure to our company's senior leaders, opportunities to network, and much more. Our 9-week summer internship opportunity offers candidates working toward their Bachelor’s degree exposure to a variety of areas within a growing software company.
What sets us apart? Our product is a true GAME-CHANGER that provides our customers a massive ROI and keeps them on the leading edge of the industry.
About You:
- You’ve got positive energy. You’re optimistic about the future and determined to get there.
- You’re never tired of learning.
- You collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs - zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences; regularly seeking and capitalizing on learning opportunities
- You appreciate direct communication. You’re both an active communicator and an eager listener - because let’s face it, you can’t have one without the other. You take prompt action to accomplish goals and take initiative to go above and beyond what is required
- You can pivot on the fly. ServiceTrade is constantly evolving, so our priorities do, too. What you worked on last month may not be what you work on today, and that excites you. You’re not looking for a boring job.
- You have a “can do” attitude. Our teams create high-quality work on quick timelines. Owning a problem doesn’t scare you, but rather empowers you to take 100% responsibility for achieving our mission.
- You want to be part of a winning team. We’re stronger together, and you’re a person who embraces being pushed out of your comfort zone.
Knowledge and Skills:
Here is what we look for in not only our interns, but all of our employees:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
