This is a great opportunity for an experienced performer with a diversified background to help ensure we’re capturing the right details to build the best possible product.
As a Product Manager Analyst, you’re key to helping us continue to enhance our recently launched Workforce Management (WFM) product offering. You would be joining a Product Management and Design team where you will partner directly with Product Managers, UX Designers, Software Developers, QA Testers and others across the company to ensure we’re building the right functionality to meet our customer’s needs.
Responsibilities
A successful candidate will be organized and detail oriented, working closely with an engineering & QA team to ensure the “what” and “why” are clearly understood, so they can formulate the technical “how”.
- Partner with Product Management (PM) & User Experience Designers (UX) to discover, define, and translate customer needs into a prioritized product backlog (Epic > User Stories > Acceptance Criteria)
- Help ensure Product Management is successful at building and maintaining a centrally located, 12-month roadmap, and product strategy.
- Responsible for driving the creation, and completion, of User Stories to a “Ready for Development” status.
- Responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and close coordination with Engineering and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
- Act as a primary point of contact (in your assigned product area) to triage any escalated issues that were routed through Support and/or Professional Services
- Partner with the Technical Documentation team and Support to clearly communicate and define product changes.
- Partner with PM & UX on the management of User Influencer Groups (and other customer feedback mechanisms) to maintain a high level of engagement with the platform’s most active customers & users.
- Establish a close partnership and working relationship with QA to assess the status of testing product fixes and enhancements.
- Act as a liaison and bridge between product teams, support, and professional services to help identify product issues and opportunities for enhancements.
- Become an expert on all things within the PrismHR WFM and Time Clock platform
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Business / Product Analyst experience or equivalent
- Experience working on / with enterprise class SaaS product offerings
- Understand and have previous experience working with a core Workforce Management platform, such as - Timekeeping, Attendance, Scheduling, Staffing, Leave Case Mgmt, Labor Tracking, Compliance, and Gross Wage Calculations
- Previous experience collaborating internally and with customers to refine projects, processes, and or application needs from high level requirements.
- Excellent communication and organization skills; ability to connect across various domains, skills, and disciplines. A successful candidate will be organized and detail oriented, with the ability to break down big concepts into actionable pieces.
- Proficient in balancing software, business and technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand customer problems.
- Ability to become a true product expert with the flexibility to respond to various business & team needs.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and a firm understanding of its most common practices / processes / tactics.
- Ability to contribute and lead various Agile Scrum rituals such as standups, groomingsessions, and Sprint Demos.
- Demonstrate a high level of grit and initiative to get stuff done.
BONUS Experience / Skills:
- Understanding of the Payroll and HR Actions workflow and associated requirements pertaining to HR service providers (PEOs) and SMBs.
- Passion for the Software product craft and a curiosity for continuous learning and improvement ... bonus points if you love all things HR Tech and related HR functionality.
- Experience using PrismHR or another Human Capital Management (HCM) platform and/or related HR Technology
- Software Business Analyst, Scrum Master, Product Owner related certificate course
- Agile Framework certifications and/or professional development training
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Pragmatic Institute’s (or equivalent) Product Management framework
