Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an innovative and results-driven Product Manager to lead the development of an advanced AI and IoT-driven solution that includes end-to-end integration across diverse software and hardware retail environments. This role focuses on delivering solutions that enhance operational efficiency, improve the customer experience, and reduce shrink through advanced automation and intelligent systems.
As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for deeply understanding market needs and translating them into clear business and technical requirements. By conducting comprehensive analysis of market trends, customer challenges, technical capabilities, financial considerations, product metrics, the competitive landscape, and sales performance, you will shape strategic plans, prioritize features, and guide investment decisions.
You will own the product roadmap and backlog for a solution spanning multiple teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions that create measurable value for customers and retail operations.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination.
- 5+ years in product management, Software development, technical marketing or sales engineering
- Deep experience in retail systems, with a strong understanding of retailer user needs, operational workflows, and complex challenges related to asset protection and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with machine learning models, AI development cycles, SaaS solutions, hybrid deployment models, cloud infrastructure, and data solutions, particularly as they apply to retail environments.
- Proven experience handling technical requirements that span multiple teams.
- Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams to create backlogs, write requirements, and prioritize feature.

- A passionate advocate for the solution, capable of inspiring confidence and enthusiasm among stakeholders, internal teams, and customers while driving adoption and engagement.
- Exceptional ability to articulate industry and operational insights clearly and persuasively to executives, clients, and cross-functional teams using oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer insights, and industry needs to develop and execute a clear product vision and strategy.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and drive consensus on complex projects while coordinating across planning, development, marketing, sales, and support.
- Innovative thinker who can assess risks, try new approaches, and make sound judgments to grow the product and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
- Ability to connect with end users and customers to gather actionable feedback and ensure solutions address their needs effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Build phase plans, coordinate technical requirements across different development (internal and external teams) and be the liaison for taking solutions to market.
- Drive requirements/ prioritization/backlog for agile development. Align with business analysts, product managers, program managers and be the technical representative to resolve issues and build go to market strategies.
- Build and execute go-to-market plans.
- Develop solution go-to-market plans including opportunity analysis, pipeline analysis, market segmentation, channel readiness (where applicable) requirements, and outbound marketing requirements.
- Develop solution pricing/licensing approach and map against customer requirements with an understanding of competitive/other factors impacting deal closure.
- Drive competitive analysis and compete strategies against established players and new threats. Engage on the launch of new releases.
- Engage with product development and program managers to drive solution roadmaps, providing business requirements in terms of functionality, costs, and solution interdependencies.
- Collaborate with product development to create and expand portfolio of products and solution alternatives. Be the leader and champion of customer/market requirements and help break these down.
- Ensures all relevant development teams have sufficient detail in requirements to build a market ready and acceptable product
- Collaborate with marketing teams to understand targeted markets, market trends and competitive environments. Develop value propositions, messaging frameworks, and statements of direction.
- Collaborates with various internal "customers" and departments on solution fit, features, go-to-market strategy, positioning, etc., to ensure end-user customers & company requirements are represented with a broad perspective and likelihood of field success.
- Coordinate across functional areas to achieve overall business results, including marketing, sales, services, maintenance, and finance
- Help build relationships with strategic global customers. Support executive briefings and provide direct client-facing sales support for high-impact, qualified opportunities. Support execution of strategic partnerships, customer engagements, and drive new business growth
