As a product leader, your role is to design, implement and manage a line of high-performing products that meet the needs of members and clients. You are responsible for developing, pricing, improving, implementing and promoting the products offered, based on the needs of members, clients and the distribution networks, and in line with market trends and Desjardins Group’s target position. You serve as resource person and advise and assist partners as part of the development of the product line. You develop recommendations, solutions and action plans to improve and optimize the product offer, based on the organization’s directions and objectives. This requires analytical skills and extensive, detailed knowledge of the line of business. You interact with various stakeholders working in other fields to understand their needs, and present and explain the different aspects of the product line. More specifically, you will be required to:

Recommend and implement improvements to the product offer based on member and client needs, business priorities and market developments

Monitor the competition and market developments, identify opportunities to develop the offer and recommend initiatives

Help establish and roll out the client experience for the value-added services the products offer

Monitor the products' commercial results and financial performance to identify findings and target opportunities to optimize the offer

Identify the operational, reputational and financial risks associated with the implementation of the product offer and make suitable recommendations

Analyze the planned improvements to the product line, make sure they comply with laws and regulations and make the necessary recommendations

Give presentations to various committees about the team's position and work with partners and external organizations in the context of existing agreements

Bachelor's degree in a related field
