Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. More than half of Americans have a chronic condition related to what they eat, and poor nutrition is the number one driver of preventable death.

Nourish is addressing this healthcare crisis by helping people eat better, more easily, with our food as medicine platform. We connect people with a telehealth Registered Dietitian, food, and mobile app to improve their nutrition, all covered by health insurance. The Nourish mobile app provides a comprehensive approach to wellness through personalized visits with Registered Dietitians, medically-tailored meal delivery, health progress tracking, personalized content, meal logging, recipes / meal planning, AI chat, and more.

We launched two years ago and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform. Our patients span a wide range of nutrition-related conditions including diabetes, eating disorders, kidney disease, GI conditions, cancer, obesity / weight management, cardiovascular disease, and more. We are live in all 50 states.

We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised over $44M from top-tier VCs including Index Ventures, Thrive Capital, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, and Box Group, amongst others. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the Role:

Reporting to our co-founder & CTO and as a foundational members of Nourish’s product team, you'll be responsible for owning and optimizing our core billing systems—an essential component of Nourish’s business model. You'll work closely with our operations teams to lead the strategy, execution, and delivery of a seamless billing experience to our patients and providers. Your goals include improving our cost estimations for patients, providing an excellent post-appointment patient experience, and ensuring that we are collecting payments from our increasing number of insurance company partners.

This role is full-time in NYC (in-person candidates only), with flexibility for some remote work. Nourish has an NYC office in the heart of Silicon Alley.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and communicate the strategy for improving Nourish's billing systems
• Create, prioritize, and execute an aggressive roadmap to improve key metrics in collaboration with the design, engineering, and bizops teams
• Conduct user research to understand our patients and providers and build delightful experiences
• Establish and analyze key metrics to measure progress in areas of opportunity and gain insights into the customer journey, driving impact on Nourish’s business

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You have 5+ years of experience as a product manager
• You have 2+ years of experience as a product manager at startups
  • Healthcare or marketplace experience a plus
• You’re a builder. You love building and shipping new features and can take a project from 0 to 1, and then iterate to continuously improve.
• You’re obsessed with your customers and craft. You care deeply about understanding our users and building a truly delightful and impactful experience for them.
• You are analytical and data-oriented. You’re comfortable diving into data to uncover insights and inform our product vision and strategy.
• You have a strong opinion on how to build high-quality products.
