Job Description

ABC’s internship program is designed to empower students and graduates by helping jump-start their careers and sharpen skills while creating meaningful relationships. This is a 8-week internship beginning in June of 2025. We are looking for motivated students & graduates that bring fresh thinking, innovation and diversity of thought to ABC.  

We are looking for a Product Marketing Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in go-to-market strategy and product growth marketing. 

As a Product Marketing Intern, you’ll work alongside a team of experienced product marketers across ABC Fitness’ platforms (ABC Trainerize, ABC Ignite, ABC Glofox), who have deep expertise in GTM strategy and execution, customer engagement, and product adoption strategies. You’ll get the opportunity to contribute to real-world marketing initiatives, from launching new features to crafting a playbook for attracting and retaining Gen Z trainers. 

This role provides a unique opportunity to learn how product marketing drives business growth, customer adoption, and retention in the fitness tech industry.

You will report to and be mentored by the Senior Manager, Product Marketing at ABC Trainerize. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:  

  • Develop and present a strategic product marketing playbook focused on improving Gen Z trainer engagement with ABC Trainerize, outlining key insights, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.  

  • Assist in executing GTM strategies and brainstorming creative ideas for new product features and marketing initiatives. 

  • Support campaign execution and content creation, including blogs, social media campaigns, in-app messages, and email marketing. 

  • Conduct competitive research to identify industry trends, gaps, and opportunities for differentiation. 

  • Help gather customer insights by conducting surveys, analyzing feedback, and identifying key takeaways. 

  • Support ABC Trainerize Academy’s growth through marketing efforts across email campaigns, community engagement, and social media. 

  • Analyze campaign performance and feature adoption data to optimize marketing strategies and improve user engagement. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Currently pursuing your bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 

  • Curious, ambitious, and eager to learn—you don’t just want experience, you want to make an impact. 

  • Know your way around marketing basics and are excited to put them into action. 

  • A strong communicator who can turn ideas and technical jargon into clear, engaging messaging (bonus points if you’ve got a knack for storytelling!). 

  • You’re able to juggle multiple projects and stay organized–we work fast here! 

  • A marketing enthusiast who keeps up with trends and loves experimenting with new strategies. 

  • Tech-savvy? Even better! Experience with marketing software, email platforms, or design tools is a plus. 

  • Team player who thrives with working with others but can also crush it solo!  

  • Proficient in tools like HubSpot, Figma, Marketo, and Salesforce (or a quick learner!).  

  • At least halfway through college (sophomore year or beyond) and ready to level up your skills.

Location: You will work remotely, New York City based preferred. 

Work Authorization: We cannot offer employer sponsorship at this time; candidates must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment.  

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in the United States and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. The hourly rate for this role will be $25 USD. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
