Overview

Onyx is a robust, multi-module annuity administrative platform used by multiple companies within Group 1001. It’s built on a modern tech stack and successfully launched 4 years ago.

The Product Intern will work alongside experienced product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting Product Development: Assist in defining and refining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Conducting Research: Gather user feedback, analyze competitive landscapes, and summarize key insights to inform product decisions.
• Managing Documentation: Help maintain and organize project documentation in tools like Confluence, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Participating in Agile Processes: Join sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to gain exposure to Agile product development.
• Collaborating with Teams: Work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to support successful product launches.
• Tracking Metrics: Analyze product performance using analytics tools to measure success and identify improvement areas

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a motivated college student who is eager to learn about product management and contribute to meaningful projects. Key qualifications include:

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
• Interest in Technology & Product Management: Passion for building user-friendly products and solving real-world problems.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively articulate ideas and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with tools like Jira or Confluence is a plus but not required.
