WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Product Designer

As a Vetsource Product Designer, you are leading highly collaborative product design initiatives. You will work with Product Managers utilizing exceptional design to achieve desired outcomes. Partnering with leaders throughout the organization, you will work to inspire and drive product growth. Working closely with customers you will evangelize the product vision and ensure that needed specifications are addressed. Working with product managers and engineers, you will quickly discover and deliver solutions that drive desired customer and business outcomes. Using your understanding of industry dynamics and fresh perspective to identify new opportunities, you will utilize design systems and tools from whiteboarding to final product deliverable.

This is a full-time, remote position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead design projects serving a variety of user needs, increasing engagement, strengthening pet parent and veterinarian connections, and driving positive emotional response.

  • Create and drive initiatives forward from whiteboard sketching to high-fidelity final treatments

  • Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, recognizing that there is rarely “one right answer” and there is value in exploring trade-offs. 

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders.

  • Build Discovery culture and mindset. Can work across the company to bring in various input to shape the solutions. Identify and lead ongoing product discovery and design efforts.

  • Analyze product performance and customer needs through quantitative and qualitative methods.

  • Work across multiple products to create new opportunities or reduce risk.

  • Use Agile methodologies to deliver and iterate on new features at a fast pace.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of product design experience.

  • Proven experience leveraging design systems, design tools, and user research to accelerate iteration and development.

  • Successful track record of working with Product Managers and Engineering teams to discover and deliver successful outcomes. 

  • Proven ability to make data driven decisions.

  • Knowledge of technology concepts and processes specific to user interface capabilities.

Pay range (US based applicants): $88,086 - $110,000 (annualized)

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, certifications, relevant education and training, while also considering internal equity.
