The Lifestyle Show Producer is responsible for producing live interview segments and taped sponsored segments in a fun, morning style format directed at female viewers and social media users.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plans and produces live daily lifestyle show.
- Writes taped and on camera segments.
- Books guests, maintains show rolodex and calendar.
- Communicates with AEs and clients regarding sponsored content.
- Uploads taped segments to website.
- Reviews daily social media produced by talent.
- Maintaining a show social media account and assist with all online content as directed by Lifestyles Manager
- Evaluate entertainment and cultural value of stories for broadcast and web
- Work with production team on recording schedules and show management
- Attend daily content meetings, provide timely feedback, and make solid decisions
- Hands-on oversight of a show Monday – Friday
- Build relationships with guests, clients, community members, and show contributors
- Edits video
- Interacts with viewers and users on social media sites
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills:
- Experience producing lifestyle shows or local news.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Informed about local events, entertainment, food, fashion, etc.
- Write scripts quickly and conversationally.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Generate and coordinate local lifestyle stories.
- Operate producing and editing software.
- Coach talent and provide daily feedback to production team.
