This is remote role, however you must be located within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA to be considered. Please note, that we do not currently offer relocation support of any kind at this time.

The Producer is an integral part of the BASIC/DEPT® team, helping to support various clients and turn a vision into real-world execution. You will be overseeing digital initiatives from concept and design, to development and implementation. You understand best practices and work with dedication to meeting the needs of our team and clients. You are leadership focused, detail oriented, excellent at collaborating and eager to guide a team to make things come to life. 

This special someone will regularly employ independent judgment to know what's happening, what comes next, and where things need to be at all times. The Producer role demands being able to work across various projects, manage client expectations, schedules, budgets, assets, resources and scopes in an organized manner, with quality and attention to detail in every area. Ultimately, you are the shepherd of the work we produce, coordinating and leading our project teams so we can create and deliver game-changing experiences. 

In your role, you will report to the Group Director, Production and will support the strategic goals of the company by focusing on the success of these activities and assisting with meeting the short and long-term objectives of the organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with the team to drive several large-scale digital projects to completion including websites, platform design,  branding, content, and more.
  • Act as client manager, bridging between agency team and clients to facilitate communication, regular updates, progress reports and expectation management throughout the project lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Meet financial objectives and manage project plans to meet financial health targets.
  • Use business acumen and strategy to facilitate creative execution and to drive results
  • Provide leadership to the team to include putting the client and the team before yourself.
  • Identify key decision makers within the client's organization and use excellent interpersonal skills to grow and maintain these relationships.
  • Work across all departments of BASIC/DEPT®, the client, and other stakeholders to achieve the desired results and meet the objectives of the company.
  • Support and grow in the role by actively seeking out and proposing ideas to better improve company operations.
  • Travel as necessary for client engagements and general business purposes. 
  • Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 3+ years of agency experience as an Interactive Producer/Project Manager
  • Experience working independently as the sole account and client lead, and without the guidance of a dedicated account management practice
  • Experience managing singular digital production engagements of $300,000+, as well as ongoing and always-on retainer accounts
  • A high level of mastery of Google Suite, Salesforce, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite, Notion, Adobe Creative Suite and related project management tools

The anticipated salary range for this position is $84,100 - $121,900. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
