Position: Procurement Specialist Intern

Internship Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist Intern to join our corporate procurement team for the Summer, 2025 internship program. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various procurement functions within a manufacturing environment. The intern will work closely with our procurement professionals, contributing to projects and initiatives that enhance our supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Support the development and negotiation of purchase agreements and contracts.
- Help monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Participate in the analysis of market trends to inform procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data accuracy and improve reporting.
- Assist with the administration of procurement-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, clean, and analyze data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience or coursework in procurement or supply chain management is preferred.
