Job Description
We are searching for a Procurement Manager to lead key procurement activities for the JDE Peet’s Australia and Campos Coffee business with the objective of maintaining and improving the quality of products and services in a cost-effective and efficient manner. This is a full-time position based in our head office in North Sydney with WFH flexibility and occasional requirement to work from our Campos head office in Banksmeadow. This role allows you the autonomy to drive meaningful change and make an impact on our business! Are you up for this challenge?
In this role, you will:
- Develop local procurement strategies aligned to business objectives
- Ensuring continuous improvement of procurement processes and the provision of goods and services to support business requirements
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including regional and global procurement and third parties
- Manage the relationship with strategic finished goods, packaging and logistics suppliers to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
Qualifications
For this role as a Procurement Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- You hold tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain, or related disciplines
- You hold up to 8 years’ experience across supply chain, logistics, procurement or similar within the FMCG industry
- You possess strong negotiation skills with a sense of fairness and commercial acumen, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings
- Flexibility to travel to supplier sites and interstate offices if and when required
