We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of goods and services to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
- Good understanding of UK Ingredients / Inclusions markets
- Previous experience of MRP Implementation
- 3rd party warehouse management
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their needs and requirements
- Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supplier relationships
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement or a similar role
- Strong negotiation skills
- Familiarity with supply chain processes
- High level of knowledge/experience with Sage200, DynamixAX systems and Excel
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory management
