The Procurement Junior Administrator provides administrative procurement support, helping to streamline and optimize the procurement process. This entry-level role involves assisting with the day-to-day management of purchasing activities, maintaining records, coordinating communication with suppliers, and ensuring that all procurement tasks are executed efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
Your Adventures Ahead
- Supplier Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for suppliers regarding set-up inquires
- Assist in maintaining positive relationships with suppliers by ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of issues.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding set-up inquires
- Assist in maintaining positive relationships with suppliers by ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of issues.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure that procurement processes comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Help prepare reports on procurement activities, highlighting any areas of concern or improvement.
- Procurement System Management:
- Update and maintain data in procurement systems or databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in generating reports from procurement systems to track expenses, deliveries, and performance.
- Cross-functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, logistics, operations) to ensure smooth procurement processes.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of supplier invoices and payments.
Essentials to succeed
- Diploma or Degree graduate
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing environment
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and terminology
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with procurement software or systems is a plus.
