About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Excellence Manager to lead the digital transformation journey for Purchase-to-Pay in indirect procurement at Essity. In this role, you will lead the roll-out of Ariba Guided Buying and oversee the implementation process, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and drive efficiencies across the organization.
This is a permanent position based in Gothenburg, reporting to the Senior Procurement Excellence Manager. Occasional travel is required.

What You Will Do

Lead the roll-out of Ariba Guided Buying across various regions, ensuring alignment with global procurement strategies.

Lead ongoing projects in Source to Pay program: Low-spend buying services, implement the “No PO No Pay” principle.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Sales, Facility management and Marketing among others, to ensure seamless integration and adoption of the new system.

Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring timely delivery of project objectives and report back to various management levels.

Ensure successful training sessions and workshops for end-users and ambassadors, providing guidance and support throughout the implementation process.

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.

Ensure high adoption of Ariba Guided Buying, secure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with supplier onboarding sub-process team, and under roll-out project ensuring all necessary suppliers are enabled in Ariba and receive proper communications on Essity’s Purchase to Invoice requirements.

Monitor ongoing support and hyper care during the post-implementation phase, addressing any user queries or system issues.

You have:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience managing large-scale change initiatives and multi-country digital transformation projects.

Proven experience in project management, preferably within a procurement or supply chain environment, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Strong knowledge of procurement processes and systems, including Ariba Guided Buying.

Good communicator on all levels across organization and businesses.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Knowledge on invoice processing and financial reporting is an advantage.

Knowledge of indirect procurement and purchase-to-pay processes is a plus.

Familiarity with change management principles and practices.

Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
