Job Description:
The Procurement Analyst role provides analytical expertise for Procurement initiatives, sourcing strategies, savings reporting and other activities requiring analytics support. This role is responsible for developing, supporting, and reporting key Procurement performance indicators as well as supporting the development and execution of sourcing strategies, RFPs, projects and initiatives. Core to the function is analytics and modeling, including building financial models, forecasting models, scenario building, sensitivity analysis and total cost of ownership modeling.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide analytical support for Procurement’s major commodity and procurement initiatives, special projects, strategic opportunities, and savings validation to the business
- Independently conduct quantitative analytics and modeling projects, including but not limited to sourcing and compiling raw data, cleansing, preparing, analyzing, and interpreting multiple datasets, and conducting various ad-hoc analyses
- Collaborate with IT technical teams, data engineers, data analysts and other internal and external parties to ensure data quality, integrity, and efficient data pipelines
- Provide detailed spend data analysis by category, subcategory, vendor, part/service, client, etc.
- Develop Total Cost Opportunity (TCO) modeling & analytics to aid in RFP bid evaluation and contract negotiations
- Request for Proposal (RFP) support including data collection, compilation of bids from suppliers, analysis related to supplier qualification process
- In conjunction with Category leads, develop and maintain monthly forecasts (volume, rebates) on all key categories
- Assist in developing Savings/Benefits reporting, Spend under management reporting etc.
- Maintain a solid understanding of the overall business and operational needs
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, visualizations, and presentations
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain is a plus
- 2-5 years business analytics/support experience
- Strong financial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively across multiple functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with data preparation and working with large and/or complex structured and unstructured datasets
- Competent in SQL, Python & R programming languages
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Power Automates, Power Apps, and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Adaptable, flexible, positive, open to learning, developing, and welcoming new ideas
- Planning and organization skills: ability to prioritize, and multi-task simultaneous projects
- Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
- Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team, creatively, and efficiently in a dynamic environment
JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: This position is in Alpharetta, GA and operates in a professional office environment.
Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Hybrid (onsite 3 days a week).
Travel: Occasional travel (less than 10%) is expected for this position to visit with client.

Pay Range:
$59,300 - $83,000
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
