Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a Process Systems and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) Analyst to join our Controls Engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the delivery of business results around Safety, Availability, Performance, and Utilization through data analytics and the development of our OEE system.
Here's what you'll do:
- Maintain a strong understanding of all manufacturing processes in our packinghouses and their hierarchies as outlined by the ISA-88 standard model
- Identify and document the current automation capabilities to facilitate conversations on further automation needs for data management and to advance OEE development
- Actively participate in project conversations to determine needs for project integration into the data supporting the OEE system and provide support with developing the scope of work and managing execution
- Manage third-party vendors, such as the OEE system developer and project PLC integrators, to ensure they are working safely, meeting project deadlines, and staying within budget
- Develop a training program for the operations and technical teams on the automated data sources that feed into the OEE system, OEE concepts, and data mining
- Engage with internal teams to solicit feedback on the OEE system and use prioritization tools to determine the feasibility of system modification/enhancement requests
- Evaluate the overall reliability and user-functionalities of the OEE system by monitoring and auditing established user and administrative processes
- Manage database tables and views used to create operational data from control systems and OEE for reports and for monitoring system usage and data integrity
Qualifications
Here's what you'll bring to the table:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a food manufacturing/processing environment
- Familiarity with tracking Performance, Machine Availability, Quality, and other key metrics
- Experience with using supervisory systems, such as OEE and MES, in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of process flow, operations equipment, equipment constraints, and KPIs (Machine Efficiency, Machine Availability, MTBF, MTTR, etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, Visio)
- Associate of Science (AS) degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field (may be substituted with 4-5 years of manufacturing leadership experience and/or training certifications)

Salary: $80,000-$90,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
