Summary:
Under the direction of the Operations Manager this role will own results for safety, right the first time, compliance to plan, sanitation, labor cost, through put, yield, operating systems health, hard asset improvement and team improvement .
This role will participate in annual planning and weekly meetings. Coaches and develops their team by serving as leadership coach and resource. Spends floor time gathering information on operating system health information.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides Management and leadership to deliver business results and operational improvements
  • Responsible for the day to day manufacturing needs for their assigned area .
  • Provides direction, leadership, development and support to direct reports
  • Develops, implements and promotes safety programs and safe work practices
  • Develops, promotes and supports continuous improvement
  • Owns and Le ads the implementation of the QRMP (Qual ity Risk Man agement Process) standard
  • Strive to maximize the efficiency of the plant/department by submitting and implementing process improvements .
  • Comply with all established GMP, HACCP guidelines, Housekeeping responsibilities and QRMP operating procedures .
  • Leads areas of change management and accountability .


About you:

  • Previous leadership experience, positive attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills.


  • Excellent planning and organisational skills


  • Ability to work within a team environment as well as work effectively with all associates .


  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Matrics , and ZPI skills .


  • Can understand and write WIs, SOPs, OPLs .
